IMAGINARY LANDSCAPES
If we look at what surrounds us but without the usual structured categories we often overlay on the world, it’s striking what we can notice. These images are of decaying concrete retaining walls with fungus and lichen and other elements that evoke abstractions that, among other things, resemble landscapes. Decay is a natural part of life, even among inorganic substances. Worth a look!
