Upside
This is Ward’s Pond. It was cold after some milder weather so there was both ice and water, as you can see.
As I was shooting this, I wondered how confusing it would be since it seemed almost a perfect upside down image. But I realized that having the reeds at the bottom grounded it, made it clear that we are looking at reflections. (Maybe that was obvious to you at first glance; it wasn’t to me.)
I love the interplay of the reflected tree limbs and the bent reeds. And the solid ice where the sky should be, well, yes, it’s a bit confusing, but in a good way…
