Yes, it’s true I walk around Ward’s Pond quite often and yes, it’s also true that this limb sits over the Pond and thus the reflections are there. So I suppose it’s not a big surprise that I’ve shot this limb and these reflections at other times.

What particularly attracts me about this shot is the way in which the thickest portions of the limb actually show you the leaves and stones under the surface. I’m sure there’s some scientific explanation for why that happens. Whatever, it’s fun to look at…
