Outside
Somehow I’m not finding much to shoot, perhaps because so much of my day is spent indoors. But yesterday I took my bike to meet some of my family for a bike ride in the Arboretum. The time was a magic respite from a quiet and sedentary home-bound time. Moving my body on the first bike ride of the season was sweet.
When I shot, I continued my exploration of what the focus of my shooting attention will be as I sense the slowing down of pond and reflection images. I’m continuing to focus on trees, not full portraits but what I’d like to refine into essences of trees, the places and moments when they are most noticeably what they are.
This shot sits at the very beginning of the exploration. It wears the moss like a coat. We’ll see what I think of this in a week or two. And your reactions….
