Capillaries
I’ve spent so much time in the past two years shooting the edge of the Pond, which means, essentially, looking down. All the time. So, as that particular series seems to be coming to an end, I thought I mix things up a bit by looking up!
It’s true that I’m in love with reflections and water and the debris that floats nearby, so finding something of interest when I look up has been a challenge. I’ve just started so it may take a while. Or maybe it’ll be a dead end. But this tree is one of the more successful early efforts. It reminds me of the alvioli in the lungs or capillaries throughout the body.
The pleasure here for me is the subtle sky behind the dark limbs of the tree. There is a bit of mystery in the dark trunk. Not sure how this image will fare after I’ve lived with it for some time. But at the moment, I’m enjoying it!
