Green
Walking around Jamaica Pond, I find myself looking up. So often in the past, I’ve focused on the edge of the Pond, where water meets land. Now, having reached something like completion with that series of shots, I’m noticing the naked branches of the trees as they begin to have leaves.
It feels similar in an odd way, this combination of tree branches, sky, and clouds, as though the boundary between earth and sky is somehow in the balance. Certainly, spring brings us another palette, a relief after the drab reality of winter.
So this seems to celebrate the coming of spring and also reminds me of the value and power of looking up. Not sure where this will lead but it feel promising at the moment.
