Repeating myself?

Yes, I suppose this is a familiar shot, one I’ve looked at and taken several, perhaps many times in my walks around various bodies of water.

Honestly, I don’t really care. Each shot captures something a bit different and I’ll never know which are my ultimate favorites if I don’t keep shooting them. Also, to be candid, I don’t have much attention for looking deeply right now. This is an unsettled time, to put it mildly, and I’m doing my best to keep my attention on goodness and compassion, which leaves less time for art. Challenging.

And for another thing, I’ll be doing the New England Portfolio Review, originally set for late April and rescheduled for early October - surely we’ll be out of quarantine by then :) So I will go through my “Edge of the Pond” series, and maybe this new one will be the star of the show.

I’ll never know if I don’t keep shooting!
