A summer version

I’m glad I’ve been shooting reflections for a long time, well over a year, now, maybe verging on two. Paying attention to the same subject matter gives me the ability to explore this theme throughout different sorts of weather and different seasons.

It’s interesting that I haven’t played with reflections much in the summer time. This shot, taken at Forest Hills Cemetery, is my first successful summer reflection. There’s something about the palette that seems very warm weather - probably the yellows and light blues. I’m enjoying seeing somewhat familiar scenes with different color schemes!
