Vista

I’m not big on vistas. The glorious view for miles or the amazing sunset, I don’t search for those things. But sometimes I come across them. As in this case…

Every morning I take a walk in the Arboretum. It’s right after I do my morning practice so I usually leave my house at 6 and reach the Arb 10 minutes later. There is a time of year, a moment, perhaps a bit more than a couple of weeks, when dawn is peeking its head over the hills as I walk around Peters Hill. It’s hard not to want to capture that! It’s Homer’s “rosy-fingered dawn” for sure!

This is from a new path through the orchard on the side of Peters Hill.
