New and familiar
Today I went to a park I’d never been to before, Millennium Park in West Roxbury. It has playing fields and parking lots and its saving grace is that it borders the Charles River. There are paths that bring you close enough to the river to put in a canoe. The land seems to be recovering from the construction of the park, with downed trees and stumps in an almost chaotic display of unplanned housekeeping.
Nevertheless, once I used the camera to focus me on smaller areas of interest, there was much to look at and enjoy. My favorite were the reflections (big surprise there, I know) of the grass growing at the shoreline. Because this is a river rather than a pond, the water is moving. This has some impact on the movement of the reflections. Lovely!
So it’s the same and different at the same time. I’m pleased to have found this images!
