Tree in the water

It’s a birch tree, although that isn’t obvious looking at this image. But it’s there, keep looking, upside down reflection, yes, but it’s a birch tree.

The water is clearer this week - again this week, we’re at the pond in Forest Hills Cemetery where the algae blooms - even though you’d not know it from this shot. Perhaps it was the wind that blew some of the green stuff clear in some areas. Not sure.

I saw the tree’s reflection first and then noticed the way the algae created ripples in the relatively still water. The tree on land was not nearly as interesting as the tree in the water.

I don’t think I want to look for any deeper meaning here. Just an image that’s fun to look at. What do you think??
